Painting up Plant Pots at a Care Home

On a recent Friday, Paint Buzz had a fantastic time at a local care home, upcycling old plastic pots from Cutteslowe Garden Centre with the residents and staff. We sat outside in the shade of tall trees and the warmth of this amazing summer having a blast. It was great to see them enjoying themselves as they painted, laughed and broke into impromptu singing. We used Al Fresco paints as they were developed for outdoor use and, like all the paints, cover plastic very well.

The benefits of green space on health and wellbeing are well-documented, so it was lovely to visit a place where the garden is such an integral part of the care home. We'll be back next week to paint up a table for the residents' benefit.
